"Good Morning Pam!

I am very happy to offer a testimonial to the great work your staff and especially George has done in bringing back my quality of life. I am a 40 year old man who was overweight at 260 pounds,  had severe lower back problems(compressed discs) and dangerous high blood pressure along with thyroid problems.

After meeting with George and establishing where the problem areas were on my body, eating habits and qualifying my fitness level (not great), George created a workout routine, nutrition guide and a time frame to put everything into place. Within 6 weeks of beginning the routine(3 -1 hour workouts a week) and starting a nutrition regimen(each is set to match your metabolism) my blood pressure dropped from a dangerous 170+/110 to 130/ 80 and with in 10 weeks was back to normal at 125/75 and my thyroid was well within the normal range as well.

I am now 13 months into this program and I weigh 220 pounds but have gained at least 25-30 pounds of lean calorie burning muscle and my 6 pack has returned and I now feel good when I look in the mirror.

The fringe benefits from this new found body are better sleep, more productive work day and better sexual drive along with a more patient mindset with my family.

This has also changed how my children view physical fitness and how they see fitness and nutrition in their life as well.

My lifestyle changed but the new habits I have formed will keep me planted firmly on the path to a fit and happy long life. Without this change I was walking down the path to burnout, medical issues and perhaps worse even death. I cannot say enough about the great work the staff of Pam’s do to fix the minor soreness and muscle aches that often come along should you need them along with the vocal prodding to help you along the way. IT is always nice to hear that you are doing well when often you may not see it yourself.

"I came to PTI for treatment of my tennis elbow. The next thing I knew I was arranging a meeting with George, a member of the PTI staff who would be able to help me lose weight and get in shape. About 5 minutes after meeting George I was being measured, weighed and we were taking about food, in particular what I ate. The issue of my weight has always been a very emotional topic for me, but from the very beginning George put me at ease and made it easy for me to talk about my weight and what I needed to do to get in shape and lose the extra weight.

Six months later I have lost over 30 lbs and I feel fantastic. What did I do? I followed George’s plan and with his guidance, I started to make better food choices. He was able to help me understand how my food choices were working for or against my body. It is not always easy and takes a lot of planning but George has been there every step of the way encouraging me and giving me guidance. It took years to put the weight on; it will take some time to take it off.

The best thing to happen to me in years was my tennis elbow, for it introduced me to George, the PTI facilities and staff and a better way of life."

"I have always had a bad back and faced three days of pain driving my Mom to Florida. I had a month, so I visited PTI.

Pam not only treated my back, she set me up on an exercise program to strengthen my back and stomach muscles. I had a pain-free drive (except for history-lesson CDs Mom insisted on playing).

I now go to the gym on a regular basis. Pam, George and the other staff work out there too. Or they're jogging up and down the Rideau River. These people walk the talk."
